There is a sandwich and custard manufacturer near me. They recently posted this to their company’s Facebook feed:
Did you know that Nielsen’s Frozen Custard has less fat and fewer calories than premium ice cream? It’s our special patented machine that delivers such a rich, creamy custard!
I am sure that many were shocked to learn that the difference isn’t the recipe, or the skill of their employees, but the quality of their capital. I’m almost worried about when the first politician will promise to protect “Good American custard-making jobs!” Never mind that this allows Americans to enjoy tasty custard with less fat and fewer calories while working to design machines we will sell to the rest of the world (or allow teenagers to get entry-level service jobs).
